When all else fails..
and I can't see the reality of things I breathe long breaths and close my eyes. When all else fails I count my blessings and say my prayers. When all else fails I take a bath and comb my hair because nothing else seems to matter. When all else fails I call a friend and try to laugh. I go to bed, I close my eyes and try to sleep. I reach for touch and long for love. When my mind goes blank and eyes see no more I know that life is not right. I try and collect my thoughts and ease my mind but my emotions won't let me. When all else fails I sing a song, a dance a dance and I drink til' contentment. When my clothes smell dirty and my nails are no more, when the walls seem small around me I know that I am not right. When things go wrong we need a friend, we need a moment, a song, a spot, a joy, a smile a realization that things are going to be o.k. When the world seems like it will not survive and trees become bare in the summer we know that things will not be alright. What do we do to make the nightmare stop? How can we stop and smell the flowers when the stems are black? How can we regain sanity when it all seems surreal? What will make a difference? Life is all those feelings that we feel when we breathe, when no one is around. When the kids go to bed, and lights go off and the shadows are lurking life happens. When all else fails.... Life begins!

Did you ever get the feeling that maybe you were missing something? Did you ever feel that maybe you should be doing something, but your not? Sometimes, well a lot actually, I feel like there is something out there for me. Something that I am not getting, that I should be doing. I don't know...my purpose. What is my purpose? That is the ultimate question. I mean everyone has a purpose right? We were all put on this universe to do something great. I really do believe that. I believe we were all destined for greatness. We chose to act on our thoughts and thus that process enables us be what we are. We can change scenarios if we so choose. I know, I know ..it takes a lot of hard work to do something when all the odds are against you. But you can do it. For instance, a women can leave an abusive relationship. She doesn't have to stay. She can muster up all the energy she has and make a choice to live a better life, even if that means it is going to be uncomfortable for a while. She is afraid of the unknown, therefore she would rather stay being abused because she knows it. She has become comfortable with it, even if she doesn't realize it. O.k another example ..lets see a woman (i use women because I am one)a woman can get a job, or she can lose the extra 10 pounds, or she can get that raise ...if she wants to. We have the capability to do anything we set our minds to. We can change. We need to continually say that to ourselves because sometimes I think we forget. We forget that with a little will power and self determination, and perserverance we can do it. I know money, and health and support all play a role in this decision. But again, all those things we can control as well. We can find the money to take that train to get away from that man. We can get the support from our sister, or mother if we let them know that we want this and we are going to do this. We can make that leap if we put it in our mind. We all know that. We know that when we want something we can get it. If you don't know that then you need to start telling yourself that. If you have your health, and love and support and the capability to do something then we can. Tell yourself you are going to do something, put it in your mind and then go for it. It may be that that is your calling.

Juggling
I always new that most women were good or even great at multi-tasking. It is simply amazing the way a woman can iron her clothes, brush her teeth and talk on the phone at the same time. I love this!!! I think it is fabulous because(no offense to some men out there)some men, meaning my hubby, cannot even hold a conversation while picking out his clothes. It really make me laugh!!! Well anyway the point I am trying to make is that women are truly superior when it comes to the ability to conquer more than one duty. I need to remind myself of this every time I am feeling frustrated with the amount of work that I have in front of me. I need to learn to let it go!!
I am currently holding a full time job in sales, I have 3 children that have lives that need attention, like meals to be made, and sports many nights a week, tuck ins, and books to be read, homework to be done. Now I also have PTO once a month, This is only once a month but still a responsibility that I need to do because I enjoy doing it. I also spend a lot of time on the net researching my business and my full time job, getting advice on parenting and marriage. My hubby gets soooo annoyed that I spend so much time on the net. I am only able to do this in between jobs and when my kids are in school or in bed.
All these things that I undertake in a course of day brings me to the conclusion that I need this busy schedule. Without it I would be bored. I do have a lot of energy. I very much enjoy going for walks and do some kind of workout, be it on t.v. for 20 minutes or squeezing in the gym with my family, after karate and before dinner.
I do feel like I have certain expertise in time management skills. My advice to all those that say there is no time, or I can't do it, or I am tired, or whatever else it is that you prefer to say to avoid the task at hand:
1. Just do it. Famous from Nike, but guess what it works. You do it anyway and then your glad you did.
2. Stop taking so many breaks in your day. There are only so many hours in the day. If you spent more time doing the things you need or should get done then realize how much more productive your day could be.
3. Get up earlier. If you like sleep so much then try to go to bed earlier. If that is not an option then just try and train your body to function on less sleep. But you ideally should be getting at least 8 hrs. a night in. This is just for overall good health. If you need to stay up later one night, then make up for the lack of sleep another night in that week. Which leads me to point number 4
4. Keep yourself healthy!! This is crucial for life. When you fuel your body with the right foods and hydration you feel better and have more energy to do the things you need to do. Exercise. Come on, we all can do this. There is no excuse! Go for a walk, do some knee bends in your living room and squats during commercials. You will feel the pain but it is a good pain...and you know it. Get off the couch and move you will be in bed soon and a new day will start. Make the most out of today. Stretch that body, feel your limbs. Take deep breathes.
5. Enjoy the small details in life. Look at the trees and breathe the clean air. Appreciate all that you have and really take a few moments, every single day to do this. It is amazing how much better you will feel. You will feel more complete when you do this. Smile, laugh out loud and allow yourself to cry with the Biggest Loser contestants who go home.
Well those are most of my tips for making the most out of your day. If you have any tips that you want to share, feel free to post them. I would love to hear what you do to make the most out of your day.
O.k I need to eat and stretch!!

A lovely day...almost!
Today was gorgeous outside!! It was absolutely a perfect outside day, too bad I spent most of it inside. Have you ever been around a miserable person? What do you do if that person is someone you are related too, or married to? Today was so nice and I was in such a good mood, but my mood was quickly downtrodden ed by someone else's attitude. I don't know why it effected me in this way. I mean, I know this person, I know what they are capable of and incapable of in terms of who they are as a person. I should know that they are miserable with everyone and that it is not me personally that they are after when they deliberately look me in my face and try to humiliate me in front of a group of people. Why did I retaliate?? Why couldn't I have been the better person and just smiled and apologized for upsetting them?? Then, I wouldn't have caused that person to leave the premises and accuse me of being a bitch. I really need to lighten up. Maybe that person knew that could start me specifically because they wanted a fight and they knew I would give it. I was the scapegoat for them wanting to leave? What is it about me that make s certain people want to pick on me? Am I a weak target, or am I just a bitch, so much that I think it is everyone else when in fact it really is just me???
You could really drive yourself nuts going in circles with this if a person cared that much right?? Too bad I don't care.

When it rains...
It certainly pours around here. I had a really tough day today for the latter part of the day anyway. I found out that I am not going to be a brick and mortar. It really just did not work out. I was trying so hard to make it work and in the end I was the only one trying. My efforts were not good enough. I pulled out with the support of my family. I cried sooo much, tears were streaming down my face like a little child. It felt good to let the tension release. I am now going to be 100 percent committed to this e commerce store. I have all this merchandise! One day I will attempt the brick and mortar again. I need to heal from the disappointment and I need o let my husband and family heal from the trauma of watching me get the crap kicked out of me. They say there is a silver lining to every storm cloud. If I think about this under this light this is what I come up.
*It is better to find out now what could have been disastrous later.
*Maybe I wasn't ready to be a business owner
*Maybe I need to be here for my kids and not immerse myself in my business
*The economy is bad now*I have another purpose in life in which I have not found
*My family needs me home
O.k so I sort of feel better...a little. I am just going to have to get over it. It happened and it is over....Move On!Things that we must tell ourselves when the going gets tough:
1. Everything is really going to be o.k.
2. Have faith that this happened for a reason.
3. learn from your mistakes.
4. Don't dwell on what happened yesterday
5. Take charge of what can happen tomorrow.
6. Remember that you have nothing to prove to anyone
7. Accept change
8. Surround yourself with people that love and support you.
9.Think positive thoughts even if it is hard.
10. Remember it could always be worst; there is always someone, somewhere, where life is more difficult.
I like this list! I am going to read it a few more times.
